MUSICA Entertainment has produced radio programming in support of early learning, school readiness and parental involvement that has aired on thirty-three (33) radio stations in the states of Washington and Oregon .

The airing of this series of four programs on six radio stations in the Portland, Oregon and Vancouver, Washington markets, as well as 21 radio stations in the Yakima, Spokane and Tri-Cties markets and six station in the Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia markets, are part of MUSICA’s efforts to create awareness of campaigns that encourage and support early learning.  Several philanthropic and business organizations have joined forces with Washington state government to form a private/public partnership to increase school readiness, improve access to high quality childcare and support parents as their children’s first teachers.  At MUSICA we are more than a business; we are parents, sons, daughters, grandparents and concerned members of our communities.  We recognize the importance and benefits of assisting the statewide movement towards high quality early learning. 

What is Early Learning?

This show will focus on explaining what early learning is, and how business and communities play an important role in developing strategies in support of early learning.  These strategies also apply to parents and caregivers of young children.  Significant changes to our daycare systems are underway and we want you to know about them. Our panel of government officials, business leaders, early childhood experts and community members will discuss the impact of early intervention on development of social and emotional skills and their importance to success in life.
