The Columbia City Halloween Kids Fair took place on Saturday October 27th, 2007 It was a great opportunity to have fun with the entire family in Seattle’s historic Columbia City neighborhood!
Kids enjoyed a special performance and "tricks" by the “Cat In The Hat”, clowns, face painting, story telling and balloon making, along with interactive games at the Columbia City Theater, 4916 Rainier Avenue South, Seattle, WA!
Parents were be "treated" to presentations from:
CITI Smith Barney - Vice President of Wealth Management, Amani Y. Harris
“Securing the Financial Future of Your Child”
Guaranteed Education Tuition Program – Executive Director – Betty Lochner
“Planning for Your Child’s College Tuition”
Tiny Tots Development Centers – Executive Director – Angelia Maxie
“The ABC’s of Preparing Your Child for Kindergarten”
Participating Columbia City merchants will be hosted a Columbia City “trick or treat” from 1:00 pm – 5:00 pm immediately following the Kids Fair on Saturday October 27th. Young masqueraders found healthy snacks, school supplies, toys, and tooth brushing kits in their trick or treat bags. Most merchants also had information on parenting, early education and school readiness.
We’d like to offer special thanks to our sponsors and friends who support early education, parental involvement, school readiness and learning through music/art:
